Mission Statement

Zumamedia Arts aim to stimulate and encourage artistic, individual,  development
across all cultures and communities,  working with people who seek to initiate
and share their ideas through creative participation.

What is Zumamedia?

Zumamedia is a professional digital arts resource and production facility that
specialise in projects for people in the community, who often do not have
access to the arts.

Zumamedia work with community groups and organizations at all levels: building
relationships with funding/local government departments to form partnerships
throughout the North West region. Our successful working relationship with these
organizations has provided them with innovative arts projects and products.  

Our Background & Experience

We are a team of arts professionals who have come together to form a resource
and production facility that specializes in projects for people in the community
who often do not have access to the arts. It's core members have over 16 years
combined experience of working with community groups and organisations at all
levels, and building relationships with funding/local governmental partnerships
throughout the North West region. Our successful working relationship with these
organisations has provided them with innovative arts projects and products.

Access Participation and Ownership

Participative arts are an excellent way of expressing views and opinions, or
highlighting issues that effect your community or neighbourhood.  We work with people
of all ages and backgrounds, aiming to provide interesting projects that from the
beginning reflect not only their ideas and needs but places ownership in their hands.
Emphasis is placed on learning, participation and empowerment, building confidence
and creating a sense of achievement is central to our way of working.
